Natural Dye

My designs have been driven by nostalgia for my home land’s mountains, rivers, blossoms, and ocean waves. And a series of work was inspired by the patterns of Jogakbo, the Korean traditional wrapping cloths, and colored using natural dye techniques. I reinterpreted the patterns and composition, and adapted them into my own more modern designs using colors from natural dyes.
